We have many ways to worship at Resurrection:
TRADITIONAL: 8 & 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Our traditional worship includes Lutheran hymns and liturgies led by organ, piano and trumpet. The service also includes other choral and instrumental groups, along with scripture readings, prayers, the creeds and life-centered, Biblically based sermons. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly and all are welcome.
CONTEMPORARY: 9:30 a.m. in the Resurrection Faith Center
The contemporary worship features Biblicaly based sermons, praise songs, prayers and creeds projected on large screens, and Holy Communion is also celebrated weekly. The service is led by the music of our enthusiastic contemporary worship team featuring song leaders, guitars, keyboard and percussion instruments.
OUTDOORS IN THE GROVE: 8 a.m., 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays June-September
On the first, third and fifth Sundays, June through September, the 8:00 a.m. worship service moves outdoors to our worship site under the canopy of trees in our peaceful oak grove at the back of the church property (follow the signs!). This casual morning worship experience is in the beauty and inspiration of God’s creation. You may want to bring a seat cushion and a blanket if the morning is cool!

Baptism and Holy Communion – celebrating the sacraments
In Baptism we are welcomed in the joy and presence of God’s loving family and are cleansed by the water and the word of God promising forgiveness and grace.
In Holy Communion we celebrate the meal which Jesus shared with his disciples on the night before he died on the cross. In this meal we receive the bread and wine believing that Christ is present with us in these common elements to offer us forgiveness. We give thanks to God for this gift (Eucharist means thanks-giving) and are joined together as the body of Christ and sent out to love and serve our neighbor.
All are welcome at the Lord’s table. We commune by intinction. You will be handed the bread or wafer and will dip it into the chalice. The red liquid is wine; the clear liquid is grape juice. Gluten free wafers are also available. These are the free gifts of God for all the people of God.
The Nursery is located in Classroom #8 of the Education Wing. Our nursery caregivers provide a safe and loving environment for children, ages 1 through 5 years of age, while parents attend church services and Bible studies. Nursery hours are 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Parents will be given a Welcome packet containing enrollment forms that must be completed and on file prior to use of the nursery. These packets are available in the nursery or in the church office. Parents will be given a pager so that we can easily find a parent when needed. All of our caregivers have undergone background checks and have been trained in CPR and first aid. Please bring a diaper bag with wipes, diapers, pacifiers, sippy cups, bottles, etc. Please make sure your child’s items are labeled. For the safety of all of the children, no outside snacks are allowed in the nursery. Snacks will be provided by staff with signed waivers by parents.
If you have any questions about our Nursery, please contact the church office at email@example.com
Our Cherub Room is also available at the back of the Sanctuary where parents at the 8:00 or 11:00 services can tend to their little ones and still participate in the service.
