Welcome to Sunday School at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection for 2009-2010!

Sunday School starts in the Sanctuary at 9:30 for a 15 minute gathering.  We sing songs, play games and listen to the Pastor give a message.  Offerings are received at this time.  Teachers will lead the children to their classroom, where you can pick up your child at 10:30. 

New! Family Worship Day

The first Sunday each month is reserved for worshiping as a family.  There will be no Sunday School.

This curriculum this year is new in two respects:

• It is completely based on Bible stories.  Children open their Bibles each week and engage in Scripture.  Our young students have a "Story Bible" in their classroom.  We encourage 3^rd through 6^th grade learners to bring their own Bible to Sunday School each week.
• We are presenting these stories in many different ways.  There are workshops in Art, Cooking, Creative Drama, Music, Science and Bible Skills + Games.

1st through 6th grades are encouraged to attend the 9:30 Service together with their families on the first Sunday each month.
