Resurrection features numerous programs that allow members to serve their community and also enjoy fun and fellowship with each other.
Service Programs
Resurrection has many ongoing activities that serve our community, including
- Stephen Ministry, a program that trains members to provide counseling and support to other members
- Home Start, a Roseville non-profit organization giving homeless families a new start
- Helping Hands
- Prison Ministry
- Blood Drives
- Christmas Baskets
- World Vision
- St. Vincent de Paul, Piece Makers, Priceless Purls
Fellowship Programs
Resurrection members enjoy many fellowship activities with guests as well as among themselves:
- Lutheran Adult Fun & Fellowship (LAFF) sponsors congregation-sized dinners, dances, theaters, barbeques, wine tasting tours, seasonal parties (Octoberfests), auctions,…..plus potlucks.
- Adult Lutheran Outdoor Adventures (ALOA) sponsors hikes, bike rides, snowshoe walks, kayak trips, golf tournaments, and so forth. Download the 2008-09 brochure and schedule (1MB PDF)
- Smaller groups focus on dining groups, men’s groups, women’s groups and Bible studies
