Welcome to Sunday School at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection for 2010-2011.

Sunday School starts September 19th in the Sanctuary at 9:30 for a 15 minute gathering.  We sing songs and listen to the Pastor give a message.  Offerings are received at this time.  Teachers will lead the children to their classroom, where you can pick up your child at 10:30.

Spark!

This curriculum is new in two respects:

• It is completely based on Bible stories.  Children open their Bibles each week and engage in Scripture.  Our young students have a "Story Bible" in their classroom.  We encourage 3^rd through 6^th grade learners to bring their own Bible to Sunday School each week.
• We are presenting these stories in many different ways.  There are workshops in Art, Cooking, Creative Drama, Music, Science and Bible Skills + Games.

Calendar  

There is no Sunday School on the first Sunday of every month.  Children are encouraged to attend the 9:30 Service together with their families.  The Nursery is open.
